The registration period for all returning and new players to participate in the 2024 season of the Lynnfield Men’s Over-40 Softball League is now closed, as all rosters are now set.
Any new players who are interested in participating in the 2025 season (subject to open available roster spots), please send an email to Commissioner Sam White (bucs32@gmail.com) and we will add your name to our wait list for next year.

2024 Fees
The cost to play for all returning players in the league for 2024 is $150 (non-refundable), which consists of the league’s $120 Registration Fee plus a $30 Town of Lynnfield Field Assessment Fee.
The cost to play for all new players (subject to available open roster spots) is $175 (non-refundable), with the additional $25 helping to defray the costs associated with purchasing shirts and hats.

Process: Waiver & Release Registration Form
All players are required to read and electronically “sign” the league’s 2024 Waiver & Release Registration Form on this page before you’ll be able to proceed to the actual payment stage.
All you need to do is complete the brief form below — which includes selecting your desired team to play on in 2024, along with also indicating your player status (returning or new) from those two respective drop-down menus — check the “I Agree” box, and click the “Submit” button.
(For new players, if you don’t have a specific team in mind you wish to play for, please select the “No Preference” option and you will be assigned a team based on available open slots and existing roster sizes.)
NOTE: After you hit the red “Submit” button below, you will experience a slight “delay” (10 seconds or so) as the page refreshes. It may appear that nothing is happening; just be patient.
Once the page refreshes, you will be redirected to the separate Online Registration Payment page — scroll down to see the “Add to Cart” info — where you’ll be able to pay either via PayPal, if you happen to have an account with that service, or with a valid credit or debit card. All transactions are secure. You will then receive a message within several minutes, sent to the email address you provide, confirming your payment was successfully received.
2024 Lynnfield Men’s Over-40 Softball League Waiver & Release Registration Form
To the furthest extent permitted by law, the undersigned softball player, hereinafter called the “the player,” hereby agrees and acknowledges this league is not an official program of the Town of Lynnfield, or any agency, officer, or employee thereof. The player further agrees, understands, and acknowledges that watching and participating in these games is inherently dangerous and serious injuries and death can occur. The player hereby further agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Town of Lynnfield and any agency, officer, and employee thereof − as well as any and all Lynnfield Men’s Over-40 Softball League officers, members, agents, employees, or servants − from and against any and all claims or demands, either legal or equitable, on account of or arising out of the player’s participation in this league. The player also agrees to abide by all rules and regulations as may be established from time to time by league officials concerning the participation in league activities, including league events, and the player further agrees to conduct himself as a gentleman and embrace the qualities of sportsmanship at all times.
By checking the “I Agree” box and submitting this form, I acknowledge that I have carefully read and fully understand the above and agree to all the terms and conditions as stated in the Waiver & Release Registration Form as a precondition to playing in the Lynnfield Men’s Over-40 Softball League for the 2024 season.
